A simple and convenient way to monitor the activity and performance of your servers: a desktop client built with Electron and React, which talks to Slashboard Pulsar, a lightweight Node.js app installed on each server.
What you see
The client keeps a list of your servers, each with an icon. Opening one shows its dashboard: the processor with its core count, frequency and load average, the operating system and how long it has been up, the network interfaces with their addresses, and the mounted disks with their size and how full they are. A switch hides volatile file systems such as temporary ones.
Setting it up
Install Pulsar on the server, make it reachable (usually with a forwarded port), then add the server in the client with its address, port and key. Hovering a server shows buttons to refresh, edit or delete it.
