Brasov
Romania
A charming small town nestled in the heart of the Transylvanian mountains, Brasov captivated me with its polished architecture, steep roofs, sunny terraces, and dark green forests.
For the first time on this trip, I was lucky enough to find some fun people to spend time with through the Hostelworld app. People usually do not reply in my experience. After a few drinks and shared stories in a bar, we all decided to go for a hike in Sinaia, a nearby village, early on the morning of 2 September.
The castle, as well as the view from the mountains over 2,000 metres high, promised to be worth the effort.
