I am using this stop in a railway hub in northern Bulgaria to upload all the pictures from the train ride between Stara Zagora and Bucharest.
I was fortunate to meet a group of Brits, along with one Irish girl if I recall correctly. We played cards, drank wine and beer, and their company made the journey far more enjoyable. I was lucky enough to run into them again later in Sighişoara, as they were heading there anyway.
I am really starting to love Eastern European trains, with their old and rusty compartments, wide windows, loosely secured doors, and tracks winding through endless stretches of lush forest.
