Thessaloniki
Greece
The Marseille of Greece, if you ask me. This city has that classic Mediterranean low-key, cosy vibe I always enjoy.
Beautiful views, panoramic spots with sunsets over Mount Olympus, delicious food, and friendly locals – no disappointment at all. My Greek friends I met in Barcelona had praised this town, and I’m glad I came to see it for myself!
Sadly, I wasn’t in perfect sync with my friends because of the holidays around the 15th of August, when many people were out of town. That’s why I only stayed for two nights before moving on to Kilkis, where one of my Greek friends lives.
