Cluj was the one addition to the list that I wasn’t entirely sure about, mainly due to timing concerns. It’s a lovely city with some beautiful Orthodox churches and vibrant city life, yet I didn’t find any highlights that made me fall in love with it.
The hostel was quite nice, and I enjoyed a couple of drinks with other travellers at a bar named “Toulouse,” named after Toulouse Lautrec, or so I was told. Unfortunately, I didn’t get free drinks for being born there… Disappointing, right?
