On my way to Quito I needed a calm, rural place to rest for a little while.
I was looking for a small town in the middle of the jungle, with affordable housing and food, as well as beautiful surroundings, and Baeza was just that!
Magnificent cascades and rivers tearing through dense vegetation, birds singing day and night, highland haze covering the mountains, and soft sunlight bathing everything in a warm glow.
Honestly, I am so glad I stopped there!
