Bansko
Bulgaria
A calm, small town nestled at the foot of the mountains, where fresh water flows through every little canal and along the crevices of the roads. It was a refreshing and peaceful experience, exactly what I needed after the intense heat of Sofia.
The streets are serene, lined with small houses and magnificent, lush gardens. In the evening, an opera concert enlivens the main square. I sit at the grand café, enjoying the view while planning my route for the following morning.
