Finally in Leticia, on the Colombian side of the three-country border zone. Warm tropical climate, a great hostel with a pool, and so many amazing people from all around the world: Switzerland, the United States, the UK, the Netherlands, Chile, you name it.
I’m waiting patiently for the next boat to Iquitos, though the schedules are notoriously hard to predict.
Immigration here works in a rather peculiar way: since there are no physical borders between the towns, you just need to get your exit and entry stamps at the right offices before leaving the city. Other than that, no major constraints!
