A proof of concept of a three-dimensional game of life simulation, written in C++ with OpenGL for rendering.
Conway's rules are applied to a cube of cells instead of a flat grid, and each live cell is drawn as a voxel.
Controls
- Arrow keys: rotate the camera around the origin.
- W and S: move the camera closer to or further from the origin.
- Space: play or pause the simulation.
- R: reset and randomise the cells.
Dependencies are handled with vcpkg and the project is built with CMake, with a workspace for Visual Studio Code.
